1ST BIRTHDAY PIZZA PARTY!

     To properly commemorate the first birthday of Dayton Speedway Lives! we're going to have a pizza party!

     The party takes place at CAMPIONI'S PIZZA HOUSE, 92 Edgebrook, in Springboro, Ohio, on April 21st (Tuesday), 2009.

     The party kicks off around 6:30 p.m. and we'll still be eating pizza and telling lies about our racing exploits at 9 p.m.

     We might have some special guests, and perhaps a slide show or two, maybe even a film.  The details of the plan are still being worked.

     One thing is certain.  Around 8 p.m. I will announce the results of the Dayton Speedway inaugural class Hall of Fame voting.  (The formal induction ceremony will take place in the Fall after or near the end of the current racing season.)

     Did I mention that all the pizza and soft drinks are on me?  Well, not exactly "on me" though I almost always dribble pizza fixin's on my shirt.  What I mean is that all you have to bring to the party is yourself.  Pizza and soft drinks will be provided no charge.  And we'll have a big, gooey birthday cake on top of everything else!

     And there's a bar in case you want something a little stronger than pop (realizing that Pop drinks just about anything).

     RSVP IS VERY IMPORTANT!  The pizza house is pretty big and it should easily accomodate at least 100+ FODS, but just to be sure we don't exceed the capacity I need for you to let me know you're coming.  All I need is a last name and the number of folks you are bringing.  You can e-mail me the information here, or call me at (937) 550-4067 (leave a message if you don't get an answer).

DIRECTIONS

     Here are the super-easy to follow directions to the pizza house.  From the north or sourth, take I-75 to the St Rt 73 exit (Franklin/Springboro).

     Turn East and go approximately 5 miles to the St Rt 741 intersection.

     Turn North onto St Rt 741 and go approximately 200 yards.  Edgebrook is on the left, and Campioni's is easy to see right behind the Penn Station.

     If you live in the vicinity of the Dayton Mall it is easier to just travel South down St Rt 741 to the pizza house.
