HOF 2009 INDUCTEES

My original plan was to induct as many as 20 deserving individuals into the Dayton Speedway Hall of Fame in the first year.  I counted over 10,000 votes and when all was said and done there was one group of about six individuals with a similar number of votes and then another group of 12 individuals with a similar number of votes.  There was a natural break after this second group which allowed the Hall of Fame committee and I to determine that these 18 men would be the very first inductees into the Dayton Speedway Hall of Fame.

We congratulate all the nominees and these 18 inductees.
